Privacy Policy

StratEdge Consultancy FZE (“StratEdge”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a career advisory and HR consulting consultancy registered in Ajman, United Arab Emirates (Trade Licence No. 52810). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data when you engage our services or interact with us. We process personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “PDPL”).

This policy applies to:

• Individual advisory clients — professionals who engage us for career coaching, CV and profile preparation, interview and salary support, and job-search strategy;
• Employer and institutional clients — organisations that engage us for HR consulting, Emiratization strategy, hiring-process design, market intelligence, and related advisory;
• Website visitors and enquirers — anyone who contacts us or uses this website.

Where our role differs between these groups, we say so below.

From individual advisory clients. When you engage our advisory services, and during the course of delivering them, we collect:

• your name and contact details;
• your CV, employment history, and professional qualifications;
• notes from coaching and advisory sessions;
• information relevant to preparing your job applications and career strategy.

From employer and institutional clients. We collect the business contact details of your representatives and the organisational information needed to deliver a consulting engagement. Where an engagement involves personal data about your own applicants or employees, we handle it as described in “When We Act on Behalf of an Employer” below.

From website visitors. When you contact us through the website or by email, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email address, and the content of your message. See “Cookies and Website Analytics” below for how the website itself handles technical data.

We use personal data to deliver the services you or your organisation have engaged us for — including, for individual clients, CV and profile preparation, coaching, interview and salary support, and job-search strategy; and, for employer clients, the agreed consulting work. We also use contact details to respond to enquiries and to administer our relationship with you. We use personal data only for these purposes. We do not sell your personal data.

We process personal data on one or more of the following bases:

• Performance of a contract — to deliver the services you or your organisation have engaged us for;
• Your consent — where we rely on it (for example, to share your profile with a licensed placement partner under the referral arrangement described in “How We Share Your Information”), which you may withdraw at any time;
• Compliance with a legal obligation — where UAE law requires us to process or retain data.

In some HR consulting engagements — for example, embedded hiring support — we handle personal data belonging to our employer client’s own applicants or employees. In those cases, the employer is the controller of that data and StratEdge acts as a processor: we handle the data only on the employer’s documented instructions, for the purposes of the engagement, and subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations. We do not use such data for our own purposes.

We treat your information as confidential and share it only in the limited circumstances set out below:

• Service providers who process personal data on our behalf so that we can operate our business, under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and only to the extent needed to provide their service. These currently include Zoho Mail (email and correspondence), Calendly (appointment scheduling), and Vercel (website hosting and delivery). If we begin accepting online payments, we will use a third-party payment processor and update this policy accordingly.
• Where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process in the United Arab Emirates.

We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not sell it.

Referrals to licensed placement partners. StratEdge is a consultancy and does not itself place candidates. Where you ask us to help you pursue a specific placement opportunity, and only with your specific, prior consent to that opportunity, we may share the elements of your profile relevant to that role — such as your CV, professional history, and qualifications — with a MoHRE-licensed placement partner, for the sole purpose of that opportunity. We share only what is relevant to the specific role, only after you have consented to that specific sharing, and you may decline or withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect any referral already in progress at the time of your request.

This website does not set cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools on it. We do not build profiles of your browsing activity.

As with any website, our hosting provider automatically processes limited technical information — such as your IP address and basic request logs — in order to deliver the site securely and reliably. This information is handled by our hosting provider as described in “How We Share Your Information” and “International Transfers”.

Some of the service providers described above store or process personal data on servers located outside the United Arab Emirates. Where personal data is transferred outside the UAE, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in accordance with the PDPL, including by using providers that offer recognised data-protection safeguards. By using our services or this website, you acknowledge that your information may be processed outside the UAE for the purposes described in this policy.

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. In particular:

• records relating to individual advisory clients are retained for 24 months after the engagement ends;
• enquiries that do not result in an engagement are retained for 6 months;
• where UAE law requires us to keep certain records (for example, for tax or regulatory purposes), we retain them for the period required by law.

When personal data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, and we limit access to those who need it to deliver our services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information protected.

Where we rely on your consent to process or share your personal data, you may withdraw that consent at any time — either generally or in relation to a specific placement opportunity or partner — by writing to us at hello@stratedgeconsultancy.ae. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal, and does not affect processing we are required or permitted to carry out on another legal basis.

Subject to UAE law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or ask us to restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, write to us at hello@stratedgeconsultancy.ae. We will respond to your request in accordance with applicable UAE law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page, together with the date on which it last changed.
